Flower Inspiration: Andreas Verheijen

As far as designing a room goes, there is so much to be taken as inspiration from different forms of design. I’m particularly fond of looking to flower arrangement as source of inspiration. The color palettes, different layers, and use of angles, can be transformed across all visual mediums. I think any one of the color palettes, from the photos below, by Andreas Verheijen, would work beautifully as a concept for a room. I hope these flowers get your creatives juices flowing just as much as they did for me!

P.S. As an unfortunate side-note, some things in Verheijen designs I really don’t like. In particular both dogs, one featured in the first photo, the second in the last. Did you notice them, and do you think they’re tacky too? Or is it just me being finicky, and super particular?
